Common Uses For This Medicine
1- For the maintenance treatment of OCULAR HYPERTENSION
2- For the maintenance treatment of GLAUCOMA, OPEN ANGLE
How To Use This Medicine
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
* WASH hands prior to administration.
* Tilt head back, pull the lower eyelid down and away from the eyeball to form a pocket. Look up and place medication in
pocket.
* Continue to hold the eyelid for a moment to allow the medication to run in the eye. Close eyes for 1-2 minutes.
* While the eyes are closed, apply gentle pressure to the inside corner of your eye. If you have recently had eye surgery, skip
this step.
* Wait 10 minutes before applying any different eye medication.
* To prevent contamination, do not touch the tip of the container to the eye, finger or any surface. Replace cap after using.
What To Do If You Miss A Dose
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
How To Store This Medicine
Keep in original closed container in a dark, cool, and dry place away from children. Discard unneeded medicine.
Call Your Doctor Immediately If You Experience
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Other Side Effects
Blurred vision; Transient eye burning/stinging; Dizziness; Inability to coordinate muscle activity; Irregular heartbeat; Low
blood pressure; Slowness of heartbeat; Nausea; Narrowing of airway passage; Depression; Loss of consciousness (fainting);
Severe skin itching with patches; Headache; Visual disturbances; Itching; Skin rash.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE,
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
Precautions And Warnings
* Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit
justifies potential risk to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
* STOP TAKING MEDICINE & GET EMERGENCY HELP IMMEDIATELY IF A HYPERSENSITIVITY OR ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION occurs: (see symptoms
below):-
* shortness of breath, fast or irregular breathing, fever, joint pain, fast pulse, lightheadedness or fainting, swelling of
face, hives, & itching.
* DO NOT TAKE if you ever had an unusual or allergic reaction to sulfites.
* Do not wear contact lenses unless instructed by your physician.
* If your physician considers contact lens use to be appropriate, wait at least 15 minutes after using this medication before
inserting lenses.
* This medication may contain sulfites which can cause a hypersensitivity reaction.
