Headache, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, loss of appetite, nausea, or constipation may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. Dry mouth, weakness or fatigue may also occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: tremors, unusual or uncontrolled movements (especially of the tongue or face), diarrhea, stomach distress, bloating, difficulty urinating, mental confusion, vision changes. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages and avoid overheating which will aggravate these effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
How To Use Inversine
INVERSINE: Take INVERSINE by mouth after meals as prescribed. Try to take it at the same time(s) each day. Follow your dosing instructions closely. Do not increase your dose or stop taking INVERSINE without first consulting your doctor. It is important to continue taking INVERSINE even if you feel well. Most people with high blood pressure do not feel sick.
Inversine Uses
INVERSINE is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
Inversine Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, prostate trouble, bladder disorder, glaucoma, allergies. Do not go on a salt-restricted diet without your doctor's supervision. INVERSINE should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Since it is not known if INVERSINE is found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Inversine Drug Interactions
Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: heart drugs, other blood pressure medication, water pills, antacids, antibiotics, sulfa drugs, neostigmine, pyridostigmine. Do not take any medication for cough, colds, hay fever, allergies or weight control without first checking with your doctor or pharmacist. These medications may contain ingredients which can increase blood pressure. Avoid intake of alcoholic beverages while taking INVERSINE. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Inversine Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, and irregular heartbeat.

Missed Inversine Dose
It is important to take each dose as scheduled. However, if you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. If you miss 2 or more doses in a row, contact your doctor.
